Designed to withstand exceptionally aggressive corrosive environments, this 2-piece flanged ball valve is constructed from 904L super austenitic stainless steel (UNS N08904 / 1.4539). With high additions of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, complemented by copper, 904L provides outstanding resistance to strong reducing acids, particularly sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acids, as well as chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion. The valve features an integrated ISO 5211 top flange, allowing direct mounting of pneumatic or electric actuators for reliable and streamlined process automation.
