Hygienic IDF union-Stainless steel 316L -BS 4825 Part 4
IDF unions (International Dairy Federation) are smooth bore hygienic fitting with a crevice free design. They are manufactured in accordance with ISO 2853 and BS 4825 part 4 and consist of a nut, weld liner and weld male with a 'T style' seal available in various materials.
Similar to an RJT union, with a nut in 304 stainless steel, a weld liner and male part in 316, and a “T” style joint ring in nitrile.
